Project Macoi 365
I'm abnormally abnormal, And that's better than banal. If you find that a problem, Shut up, don't cause a mayhem.
Day 64 September 8, 2011 I AM A THE HUNGER GAMES FAN! :D I’m very much excited to see its film adaptation next year. Wooo~ I’m also a Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson fan! :D
Day 63 September 7, 2011 … Okkkkkkaaaaayyyyy. So much for trying hard to make my hot dog look presentable. LOLOL. Due to a not-new-anymore commotion at home, I think I’ll start buying my own breakfast and eat it at work from now on. Pfffft.
Day 62 September 6, 2011 Since I’m officially obsessed with eyeglasses, I hereby present you my first ever pair, only that it’s a non-prescription. Just look at the lenses, they’re color pink! LOL. My parents just bought it for me when I was, I guess, in elementary, when I tried them on when we visited an optical shop. They told me it looked good on me, so the then young and naive me believed them, so there it is, even if I barely wore it. And believe me when I tell you it doesn’t look good on me at all and in any way. UGH. That pair of eyeglasses was the reason why I always thought wearing one would just make me look old.
Day 61 September 5, 2011 Is it true that eating peanuts can make one smarter? Hmmm…
Day 60 September 4, 2011 Letting Murakami feed my mind with his sumptuous imagination once again. It’s my second time reading Sputnik Sweetheart. And honestly, I forgot what it’s all about now. All I know is that the narrator is in love with a lesbian who’s in love with a woman many years older than her age. That’s all, plus some getting lost here and there. So it’s like I’m reading this for the first time, only the pages are yellowish now. :P P.S. The book cover may not look very decent, in fact, I oftentimes hide it from people in fear that they’ll think I’m a pervert, but it sure is better than the one I see on bookstores these days which looks cheap, and hey, those copies with a different cover art in bookstores are really cheaper than those copies with a cover like mine.
Day 59 September 3, 2011 Like Frode’s playing cards, ‘Only the Joker is missing’.* It’s out there somewhere, asking people, “Who are you? Where do we come from?” *It really is missing
Day 58 September 2, 2011 In doubt about God’s existence? Seek a philosopher, they have the best answers about it. I noticed that it is almost always the intelligent people who question God’s existence. Maybe it’s because things surrounding our Creator cannot be answered by reason alone, and when you’re intelligent, every query you have should have an answer. It is faith that’s needed in that side of life and there’s almost no room for that when your brain is superior than most people. Good thing there are philosophers and their wisdoms, who give anyone the reason to believe or at least suppose that there is a living God. An example of it, which I would never forget and which was discussed by my Philosophy professor back in college, was Blaise Pascal’s Wager. It may not be the best reasoning and thought there is, but at least, he and all the other philosophers fill the gaps about everything. It’s quite funny how I hate Philosophy, but here I am now, praising philosophers. (Photo taken from my book of Jostein Gaarder’s The Solitaire Mystery.)
Day 57 September 1, 2011 I’m afraid that this project 365 of mine may soon turn into vanity 365. But you have to undestand that I can’t help it, I still can’t get over the fact that eyeglasses look good on me. I used to think that they’ll just make me look really old, but no, I think I look better with glasses on. It becomes an accessory I can’t live without now. hehe. Truth be told, that particular pair of glasses is the only design and color that fits me. Other designs just made me and my friends go, “Naah, not good, try another one.” LOL. But of course, I wouldn’t let this project become my vanity album, so promise, this will be last entry with my face on it. :P
Day 56 August 31, 2011 I just got home from work and as I was walking toward my parents’ room, I passed by my brother who suddenly told me, “Bagay sa’yo nakasalamin pero lalo kang nagmukhang mataray (Eyeglasses look good on you, but you look more bitchy.).” It was a shocking comment. First because he blurted it out of nowhere, as in I wasn’t asking for his opinion on my new look, and two, do I really look bitchy with my glasses on? O_O I don’t think so, but I don’t know. I’ve been getting comments from other people that I do look bitchy (or mataray in Filipino) when my eyesight was still clear, but now, I look MORE bitchy? Oh no, I don’t like the sound of that. Maybe because of its cat-eye shape? (~-.-)~
Day 55 August 30, 2011 Bailar. Our life is the music, and the stage is our world… Dance even if you’re off the beat! Dance and show the world you can do it! One of the silly things I used to write back in college. Prolly just read Haruki Murakami’s Dance Dance Dance that was why I was so much into the topic of dancing and maybe I was also having my Spanish lessons then that was why there was that ‘bailar’ at the beginning. XD
Day 54 August 29, 2011 This one or that one or sorry-no-pair-of-eyeglasses-will-ever-look-good-on-your-face-so-just-opt-for-going-blind? LOL. Of course I was only kidding on the last part. I managed to get a pair that looks good on me, all thanks to the help of my friends. Yiiiiiieeeee… :)
Day 53 August 28, 2011 Funny how history repeats itself sometimes. LOL. P.S. Just to regain my little brother’s dignity, he was treating his hair with hot oil both times the photos were taken that was why he had those shower caps on his head. :P
Day 52 August 27, 2011 Kettles… Most useful during cold and rainy days like this. Brrrrrr…
Day 51 August 26, 2011 Cerveza.
Day 50 August 25, 2011 I wish that DSLR was mine, and that was my hand holding it. :(
